Multistage-batch bipolar membrane electrodialysis for base production from high-salinity wastewater

Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2022, Volume 16, Issue 5,   Pages 764-773 doi: 10.1007/s11705-021-2114-2

Abstract: However, the low concentration of base generated from a traditional BMED process may limit the viabilityreport an especially designed multistage-batch (two/three-stage-batch) BMED process to increase the baseconcentration by adjusting different volume ratios in the acid (Vacid), base (Vbase), and salt compartments (Vsalt).–1, which was higher than the most reported base production by BMED.

Offshore wind power development and hydrogen(oxygen) production industrial base construction in multi

Jin Chunpeng

Strategic Study of CAE 2015, Volume 17, Issue 3,   Pages 56-59

Abstract:

Wind energy is abundant (especially in coastal areas) that provides large space for wind power development. The application of large scale non-grid-connected wind power is one of the ways to multi-directional developing wind power. This paper analyzes the distribution and exploitation of wind resource in Jiangsu coastal areas, studies on industrial chain of “applying non-grid-connected wind power to high energy consumption industries” under the instruction of non-grid-connected wind power theory, and puts forward some suggestions for constructing industrial bases of non-grid-connected wind power in Jiangsu coastal areas.

Application of transesterification for the production of biodiesel

Zhang Huaiyuan,Song Yuanda

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 1,   Pages 24-29

Abstract: Several transesterafication methods can be used to produce biodiesel, such as, homogeneous acid/basecatalysis, lipase-catalyzed reaction, supercritical method and solid acid/base catalysis.Homogeneous acid/base catalysis is very fast and with high efficiency, but down-stream product is difficultSolid acid/base catalyst, which can be recycled, has less causticity and without pollution.Supported solid base catalysis will be the main trend for biodiesel preparation by transesterification

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2017, Volume 11, Issue 2, doi: 10.1007/s11783-017-0913-y

Abstract: The preparation reactions were catalyzed by base solid catalysts.KOH/activated carbon was a better catalyst for biodiesel production., and low costs involved has led to the proposal to use sewage sludge as raw material for biodiesel productionThe transesterification reaction is catalyzed using an acid catalyst instead of base catalysts becauseHowever, the use of a base catalyst, particularly a solid base catalyst, has certain advantages, including
